Marian Devotions every Sunday throughout the month of May at two o’clock central daylight time at The Virgin of the Poor Shrine located in New Hope, TN. Father Mark Scholz will lead the devotion followed by a short sermon. The Virgin of the Poor Shrine is a year round pilgrimage site for anyone who wishes to visit the Shrine. Directions coming from Chattanooga, TN: I 24 West, Exit 152, turn right on Hwy 72, Straight at fork on Hwy 156, Turn left on Hwy 156 East across the blue bridge, Approx. 2.2 miles turn left at the top of the hill at the Virgin of the Poor sign, Approx. 0.7 miles, turn right on Burns Island Road, Approx. 0.9 miles to the entrance of the Shrine, Turn right through the gate and proceed up the hill.
