| The sixth annual diocesan Scouting retreat is set for Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17 at the Great Smoky Mountain Council's Camp Pellissippi of Norris Lake in Andersonville. The retreat is open to Boy and Girl Scouts and Venture Scouts ages 13 and older. Scouts working on religious emblem awards may be able to complete some of their requirements at the retreat.
The theme is "Catholics proclaiming salvation for all" will also provide development training for adult Scouters. Come prepared to hike and camp. The retreat begins at 10 AM Saturday and ends 1 PM Sunday. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Sunday.
