Please read the below pastoral letter that accepts the plan from the Strategic Planning Committee.

Dear Parishioners

I want to share some very exciting news with you. The Saint John Neumann Strategic Planning Committee has completed our new Strategic Plan. The plan took many long hours and numerous inputs from the members of the parish. I wish to thank everyone for your participation.

The data was very systematically gathered and analyzed, and based on the needs of our parish members.  I see a strong parallel between our new church facility under construction and the Strategic Plan implementation.  The Strategic Plan is similar to the architect's plan that places the steel within our beautiful new, church facility.

Just as steel is the sturdy core that holds our church building together, the new Mission and Vision statement of our Parish reflects how, as a Eucharistic community, our communion with Jesus Christ is the core that binds us together and the leaven the helps us to spread God's kingdom. The architect for our church created a plan for the contractors to follow.   Likewise, by unearthing the variety of needs of the parish, the Strategic Planning committee created a plan for the Parish Council commissions to use as a guide to bring those needs of the parish to fruition.  The plan will guide the Parish Council to focus on the actions needed to achieve the strategic goals, objectives and strategies of the parish.

Once where bare earth stood, soon our new church will be erected.  Through the cooperation of the parishioners, the new Strategic Plan will be implemented.  By God's grace, our new vision of the parish, both through its physical structure and spiritual growth will rise simultaneously to glorify God.   

I have personally reviewed the Strategic Plan and discussed it in detail with the Parish Council. The Plan is solid and brings forth valued added objectives and strategies that complement our Parish Mission and Vision. As your pastor, I endorse the Strategic Plan and have the endorsement of the Parish Council.  I implore your support. With your support, our commitment is one voice that endorses our Parish Mission and Vision.

So again, I implore you to be the steel in Christ that will support the achievement of our Strategic Mission, Vision and Objectives.
