The Sant’ Egidio Community is a diocesan-approved lay ecclesiastical movement which began in Rome and has spread throughout the world. Friendship with the poor and service as a community are based on our communal encounter with scripture, song, and prayer.
The Sant’ Egidio Community-Knoxville invites you and all local Catholics to join them for prayer and fellowship every second and fourth Thursday of the month at John XXIII University Parish at 6:00 p.m. Your parish representative will be happy to answer any questions.
