“FORTY HOURS WITH JESUS” in preparation for the Feast of our Patron, St. John Neumann.
Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Noon through Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 06:30 am.

Please join this special adoration of the Holy Eucharist at the altar in the Main Church Sanctuary. The devotion of 40 Hours was organized in this country in the 19th century by our patron saint, St. John Neumann! Forty Hours is a 40-hour-period of Eucharistic adoration that represents the traditional time Jesus’ body was in the tomb from his death to Resurrection.

We will begin with Exposition in the Church at 12:00 pm (Noon) on Tuesday, Jan. 3nd, 2023, and have 40+ hours of continuous Exposition of the Eucharist (except during scheduled daily Mass). Exposition will end prior to the 6:45 am St. John Neumann Feast Day Mass on Thursday, Jan. 5th.

Sign up & obtain more information in the Narthex or outside the Adoration Chapel!

St. John Neumann Eucharistic Quote:
“How much I love You, O my Jesus! I wish to love You with my whole heart; yet I do not love You enough. My lack of devotion and my negligence still haunt me. I have one desire, that of being near You in the Blessed Sacrament. You are the sweet bridegroom of my soul. My Jesus, my love, my all, gladly would I endure hunger, thirst, heat and cold to remain always with You in the Blessed Sacrament…” (St. John Neumann)

Let us ask St. John Neumann, lover of the Blessed Sacrament, to pray for us now and that we will again see the 40 Hours Devotion of Adoration grow and flourish in our country and throughout the world, and even to expand to perpetual adoration of Jesus in the most Blessed Sacrament.
