COME HUNGRY SUNDAY MORNING, DECEMBER 11. Net proceeds and donations from the Parish Buffet Breakfast goes to transitional housing for homeless seniors, “Samaritan Place,” which is both housing and help provided by Catholic Charities of East Tennessee. Samaritan Place helps its temporary clients find a permanent solution to their housing dilemma. Our own Sister Dorothy serves at Samaritan Place; also our Food Delivery Ministry brings perishable foods to it. You play a part when you take time for a communal breakfast. No matter the Mass you attend, make it a point to join us. The food, the fellowship, and the cause is well worth it. You can’t get this deal anywhere else, enjoy conversation with like-minded people, and help sustain temporary housing for homeless seniors. The cost is $9pp or $25 per family. The Knights serve scrambled eggs, three kinds of pancakes, biscuits, gravy, bacon, grits, fresh fruit, coffee, and orange juice. Breakfast is served 9:15 AM till 12:15 PM.
THANK YOU FOR ATTENDING THE NOVEMBER BREAKFAST! We had a lighter than normal turnout. But net proceeds ($304) from ticket sales and donations ($156) at the door generated $460 for our Coats For Kids Drive.
