Golden Jubilee

50 Years of Faith, Service, and Community

"Passio Christi, conforta me."  —  "Passion of Christ, strengthen me!"

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Milestone

What is a Jubilee Year?

In the Catholic Church, Jubilee Years typically occur every 25 years. These are times of special grace, forgiveness, and renewal — a sacred rhythm of reflection and celebration for the whole Church.

Why is this Jubilee significant?

Our parish marks an extraordinary convergence of anniversaries with a year-long Golden Jubilee celebration from July 2027 through July 2028, commemorating three historic milestones at once.

A Legacy of Faith and Service

For five decades, St. John Neumann Parish has been a cornerstone of faith and community in Farragut. What began as a small gathering of Catholic families in 1977 has grown into a vibrant parish community serving families throughout the greater Knoxville area.

The establishment of St. John Neumann Catholic School in 1997 further strengthened our commitment to faith formation and academic excellence. This Golden Jubilee presents a unique opportunity to unite our parish and school community across generations — celebrating our rich heritage and strengthening our foundation for the next 50 years.

Every parishioner is invited to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime celebration. The motto that guides us — "Passio Christi, conforta me" — will carry us through this entire year of spiritual renewal.
