Maintenance Worker, Full-Time
St. John Neumann Catholic Church & School has an immediate opening for a full-time maintenance worker.
The Maintenance Worker helps to provide a safe and efficient campus. Provides maintenance and preventive maintenance on all equipment. Buildings, grounds, structures, to ensure safety to all persons, including, staff, children, and visitors, and to extend the life and appearance of the assets on the St. John Neumann Campus.
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. and valid Tennessee driver’s license. Must be 18 years of age or older. Extensive knowledge and experience of maintenance responsibilities, in the fields of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, sanitation, mechanics, air conditioning, ground maintenance and custodial care.
• Work independently without direction
• Walk long distances around campus; bend, stoop, squat, and reach; climb ladders.
• Move, load and unload equipment and supplies weighing 40 pounds and heavier.
• CMG Training, Criminal Background Clearance, Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.

Technology Coordinator, Full Time
Job Description:
The role and responsibilities of this position are to support the mission of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and School. The successful candidate will possess the skills and have successfully coordinated technology and provided technical support in an elementary/middle school environment and a parish office. The candidate will also oversee the management of ipads, laptops, desktops and printers, as well as the maintenance of user accounts for computers, network and telephones. The candidate will also provide software support, teacher equipment support, and printer support. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent and appropriate use of technology to enhance student performance.
Preferred characteristics of the desired candidate include: an undergraduate degree in technology or equivalent experience; prior experience in information technology support; strong organizational skills; proficiency in standard software used in offices, e.g. MS Office, or Google and the ability to learn new software as needed. Director of Religious Education, Part-Time
St. John Neumann Catholic Church is looking for a part-time Director of Religious Education (DRE). The DRE is a professional staff member who plans, implements, and directs comprehensive faith formation/catechetical programs for the grades 1-4 of the parish and coordinates the kindergarten Atrium sessions [Catechesis of the Good Shepherd]. Key roles of this position are the development, coordination, direction, leadership, and evaluation of religious education for grades K-4. The DRE will also collaborate with school 2nd grade teacher who coordinates sacramental preparation for those preparing for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. The DRE will also choose and provide support to Director of Vacation Bible School each summer.
The qualified candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing, able to instruct and help others to instruct children in the teachings of the Catholic Church in their entirety and fullness, have strong organizational and communication skills, work well with staff and parish community, and have relevant experience in parish faith formation administration. While not required, the preferred candidate for this position would have a college degree in related field and/or formal catechetical certification, have bi-lingual proficiency (English/Spanish), and be comfortable with use of technology.
