The parish office will be closed Dec. 23 through Jan. 2, reopening January 3rd. In the event of a sacramental emergency during this time, call the office at 865-966-4540 and select option #2.

Christmas Masses

The Christmas Mass schedule is below. If you prefer a less crowded Christmas Mass, please consider attending the 6:45 am Christmas Dawn Mass! The Children’s Nativity Pageant will take place before the 4:30 pm Christmas Eve Mass. The Choir’s Christmas Prelude will begin approximately 10:00 pm on Christmas Eve, before the 10:30 pm Mass.

On Christmas, we will be fortunate enough to see new faces and new families. Many people are new to Knoxville and looking for a church home, traveling, or are coming home to the Church after a time away. Let’s remember to share the JOY of Christmas and the LOVE of Jesus with everyone we encounter, so that they feel as welcomed by our wonderful congregation as they are by God the Father! Anticipate the blessing of a crowded church on Christmas morning…while many churches throughout the country are struggling, St. John Neumann continues to grow. Let’s show our thanks to God for this remarkable gift by welcoming everyone we see with the light of Christ.

Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God

January 1 is a Holy Day of Obligation and also falls on a Sunday this year. We will follow the usual Sunday schedule: 4:30 pm Saturday Vigil, and Sunday 6:45 am, 8:30 am, 10:30 am, and 12:30 pm (Spanish).
